POCAA
POCAA (Platform of Community Action and Architecture) is a platform where people from different backgrounds who are committed to working for low-income communities can engage with each other. This platform is well-connected with the socially vulnerable communities in Dhaka and is actively working with youth groups from various communities. POCAA has been co-creating various designs with these communities’ using tools like community mapping, profiling, and implementing housing and other social infrastructures in different parts of Bangladesh. “Let people be the solution” is at the core of our philosophy, and all of the ventures aim to elevate the practice of community architecture and establish a network between the communities to share good practices.
POCAA works closely with Co.Creation.Architects, an architectural and landscape design studio which won Aga Khan Award for Architecture 2022 for co-creation of urban river spaces. It is also connected with Community Architects Network (CAN) which works in 19 countries of Asia.

POCAA) هي منصة تضم تجمعاً متعدد الخلفيات من المهتمين بالعمل لخدمة المجتمعات المحلية محدودة الدخل. تحظى المنصة بروابط وثيقة مع الفئات الأكثر هشاشة اجتماعياً في دكا، وتضطلع بدورٍ نشط في التعاون مع المجموعات الشبابية من مختلف الشرائح المجتمعية. تتبنى المنصة نهج الإبداع المشترك (Co-creating) لصياغة تصاميم متنوعة جنباً إلى جنب مع هذه المجتمعات عبر توظيف أدوات منهجية كترسيم الخرائط المجتمعية والتصنيف (Profiling)، فضلاً عن تنفيذ مشاريع الإسكان والبنى التحتية الاجتماعية في أنحاء متفرقة من بنغلاديش. يكمن جوهر فلسفة المنصة في شعار "لندع الحل للناس"، حيث ترمي كافة مبادراتها إلى الارتقاء بممارسة العمارة المجتمعية، ومد جسور التواصل بين المجتمعات لمشاركة المعارف والممارسات المُثلى.
وتعمل المنصة بالتعاون مع محترف كوكرييشن أركيتكس المتخصص في التصميم المعماري وتنسيق المواقع، والحائز على جائزة الآغاخان للعمارة لعام 2022 عن مشروع الإبداع المشترك للمساحات النهرية الحضرية. كما ترتبط بـشبكة المعماريين المجتمعية (CAN) التي يغطي نشاطها 19 دولة آسيوية.
