On Saturday 19 November, Juhi Chaand of Quarter Moon Studios will lead a workshop at Al Qasimiyah School to introduce participants to recycled paper clay, a biodegradable material she developed for her collection at the SAT Design Store. Participants will learn about the components of this material by mixing paper waste with natural ingredients - such as flour and clay - to sculpt and mould their own pieces to take home.
This workshop is part of an ongoing initiative by the Triennial to introduce environmentally conscious materials and practices in the region through a variety of programmes and activities.
